About Me
Based in Ireland, Katherine Halford Greene is an artist that creates soothing and evocative art with a personal touch from her Sandyhill Cottage Studio in County Galway. By appointment studio visits are always welcomed.
Katherine was a trained French Cuisine Chef for many years, then owned a successful wholesale Artisan candle business. She has painted all her life. She was handed a paint brush as a very young child and encouraged to paint by her father Patrick.
She received a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design, then an Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from Cluin Mhuire Art College GMIT Galway.
She has completed the Masters Degree in The History of Art and Architecture in University of Limerick. Special areas of study are Human Rights, Western Influence on Japanese, Chinese and Turkish Art.
